I love prime rib!  Does it make a difference on which kind of oven you use? Can't imagine it making any difference!!!!!

I'm a gas person myself. It certainly bakes the best cakes!

Not that I have gas now, as it would mean bringing gas to our little town and that's way beyond my means.

But I have gas in my heart.....and probably a few other organs too....

I prefer gas myself.  It bakes everything more evenly I think.

Definitely gas, My mom had both and I think electric dried the prime rib out moreso than the gas.  I am also a gas person, much more control when using the cook top vs electric.
