In my family's cookbook I want all the recipes to be the original handwritten recipe by that family member.  Is it possible to compile a cookbook with pages like this or do they have to be typed?  I am in a hurry to do this cookbook but I don't know how to get started.

Hello pendo

My advice would be either to scan or photocopy these recipes and just mix them up within your typed cookbook. I think they would look lovely like that, just to come across them unexpectedly. You may even be able to angle them.  It would also make the cookbook legible - I've seen that old handwriting, all squiggles and curls. Pretty but not practical. To be honest if you are not going to type out your recipes then there is no point in having Matilda; I think Matilda should be a working memory, not just an archive.

best wishes

I  use the silicone paper cups Michele. Much easier than washing a baking pan!
